Tom Murray has over 30 years of executive-level experience in corporate finance and fund services. Tom has been at the center of the growth and development of Wellington’s non-US business and has led countless projects focused on Product development, Operations support and transformation, Regulatory compliance, Systems and Vendor selection as well as building out distribution channels globally.

Prior to joining Barrington, Tom served as Managing Director at Wellington Management (and as a Director on their Management Company / Fund Boards), overseeing fund operations for their non-US fund business from their London office (2015-2025). Projects and responsibility included launching new fund domiciles, managing cross-border mergers, leading outsourcing RFP’s, fee negotiations, and service provider transitions. Tom is highly proficient in fund governance & regulations, policies & procedures, liquidity management, global distribution, share class constructs, data dissemination, marketing materials, and country registrations. He has implemented a cross-border global transfer agency model and a fixed fee model, and has expertise in service provider oversight, client onboarding, AML/KYC/KYD processes, share class hedging, yield reporting (managed distributions), performance fees, swing pricing cash management programs, security lending, alpha swaps, and digitizing operations and reporting.
