Nicholas W. Spanos has more than eight years of experience in the Investment Management and Financial Services industries. Prior to joining Barrington Partners, he worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, managing both audit and consulting engagements for Asset Management and Insurance clients.

Mr. Spanos has extensive experience providing assurance and process design/improvement services around the control environment in which Investment Advisors, Fund Administrators, Custodians, Transfer Agents, and Broker Dealers operate. He also has experience performing control reviews for public companies under the requirements of Sarbanes Oxley, and has provided audit services for the IT systems that support Investment Managers and Insurance Companies.

Prior to working with PwC, Mr. Spanos worked for Grant Thornton in New York, and Ernst & Young in Boston. Mr. Spanos is a graduate of Boston University. He is a Certified Public Accountant, and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants.
