Barrington employs a disciplined, multi-step approach to firm valuations. Our approach is to triangulate on a value, largely using three inputs: public multiples for comparable companies, transaction values for comparable companies and discounted cash flow (DCF) models. These inputs create valuation ranges. Once our valuation range has been completed, we take into account other macro-economic and qualitative factors to create a final valuation.
Hubbard Garber holds both a Certified Financial Analyst designation as well as a FINRA Series 79 license, which provide both the appropriate education and licensing necessary to issue Fairness Opinions.
Barrington has been issuing Fairness Opinions for over 15 years.
